Our Hiring Process
- Stage 1
Application
You'll submit your online application via our careers page, attaching your resume and answering some questions about yourself.
- Stage 2
Application review
After you submit your application via our careers page, our Talent Acquisition team will review your information, make a decision on your application and notify you via email whether or not we're proceeding. We aim to review all applications, but due to the volume we receive, it’s possible that a successful candidate might be selected before all applications are reviewed.
- Stage 3
Video questions
At this stage, we'll invite you to answer a few questions via video so we can learn a bit more about your experience. This is an asynchronous step that doesn't require you to book a time with us, you'll have unlimited time to think and can record your answer up to 3 times. The total recording time should be at around 5 minutes.
- Stage 4
Initial interview with People & Talent team
The first step is a video interview with our People & Talent team. We'll answer your questions about Spare and the role, discuss your relevant experience, and cover details like salary expectations and other practical topics.
- Stage 5
Assignment + interview with the Sales Manager
At this stage, you'll complete a sales-related assignment before your interview. During the video interview, you'll present your findings and answer questions about your assignment. The second part of the interview will focus on questions about your sales experience and cultural fit.
- Stage 6
Final interview with the VP of Sales
In the final interview, you'll meet our VP of Sales via video to further discuss your experience, focusing on situations similar to those you might encounter at Spare. Our main goal is to keep assessing whether there's a cultural fit. The VP will also answer any questions you might still have, especially more strategic or big-picture ones.
- Stage 7
References and background check + conditional offer
Once we reach this stage, we'll set a quick call to present our offer, which is conditional on passing the references and background check.
- Stage 8
Hired
After clearing the references and background check stage and considering there's an agreement on the offer, we'll set you up for your first day as a Spartian!
