Our Hiring Process

Stage 1

Application

You'll submit your online application via our careers page, attaching your resume and answering some questions about yourself.
Stage 2

Review

After you submit your application via our careers page, our Talent Acquisition team will review your information, make a decision on your application and notify you via email whether or not we're proceeding. We aim to review all applications, but due to the volume we receive, it’s possible that a successful candidate might be selected before all applications are reviewed. 
Stage 3

Initial interview with the People team

The first step is a live video interview with our People & Talent team. We'll answer your questions about Spare and the role, discuss your relevant experience, and cover details like salary expectations and other practical topics.
Stage 4

Interview with the hiring manager

This behavioural interview should take around 45 minutes and it will be via video.
In this step, you'll have the opportunity to meet the person you'll be working with. You'll talk about your previous experience in-depth and answer questions about previous situations you have encountered. 
We'll also open some time for you to ask any questions and learn more about Spare and the team you'd be working at.
Stage 5

Technical Demo

This will be a 1h technical interview via video, involving a 30min demo.
We'll provide instructions beforehand so you can prepare and know what's involved.
Stage 6

Final interview

This is a 30min behavioural interview via video with our executive team.
You'll have the opportunity to meet someone different from Spare to learn more about our strategy and culture. We'll set time aside to answer any questions you may still have and we'll also want to learn more about your experience and career.
